William Hurt var med i Kristens The Yellow Handkerchief och i en intervju pratade William om Kristen, det här är vad han sa:

"She’s brave as she can be and I’m defending her whenever I get a chance, and these people who say she’s treating the press rudely and stuff like that, I’m going, give her a break, will ya? This is a gutsy woman. This is a young, bright, wonderful, talented, observant… You know? Let her express what she wants to express, why don’t ya? Don’t, you know, don’t put the clamps on her just ’cause she made a big one."
